What To Know About This Production

An irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard’s plays, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) was London’s longest-running comedy having clocked a very palpable nine years in London’s West End at the Criterion Theatre! Auditions For The Complete Works Of William Shakespeare Abridged Revised Again

What To Expect At Auditions

** I am looking for a Stage Manager to Teach **

I am looking for Stage Manager (SM). No experience necessary, I'll be happy to instruct you as we go along. The SM is responsible for what happens on the stage, and calls the ques to keep the show flowing and in sync. If you are interested, please fill out a profile.

Thank you for your interest in Auditioning! The play was written for 3 people, but is expandable to 5. I am also looking for backstage people. Anyone interested is invited to create a profile and fill out the form below.

For actors, I'm looking for 3 to 5 males or females. Ages 18+.
(This is a very energetic show: Cast members will need to be able to run, jump and stage fight [very badly].)

Please be prepared with the "What a piece of work is Man." Speech from Hamlet, Act 2, scene 2.

There will also be an improv scene during auditions.

I'm expecting each individual audition to be no more than 15 minutes.

Pre-registration is not required, but is helpful. It is only necessary to provide the required fields, but feel free to add more information if you desire. Please include a Headshot, as well. There is an option to request backstage roles.

All auditions are first come first served, but please feel free to choose a day, so I know how many to expect each day.

**There will be cross-dressing required. Men will be playing Women, and Women will be playing Men as we cover every play in the Bard's repertoire.
